2013 - Orlando, FL : ArenaBowl XXVI: The Arizona Rattlers beat the Philadelphia Soul 48-39 for their fourth ArenaBowl title in the first ever league championship between the same two teams from the previous year. Rattlers become first back to back champion since the Tampa Bay Storm in 1995-1996.

2002 - New York, NY : The Arena Football League re-brands for the first time in its history. "The new logo reflects the speed, excitement and skills that make the Arena Football League brand of professional football so unique." The full announcement can be found HERE.

1994 - Des Moines, IA : The Iowa Barnstormers come into being as league founder and former commissioner Jim Foster purchases the 1995 expansion franchise.

1991 - Detroit, MI : ArenaBowl V: Detroit's string of titles is halted with a rousing 48-42 Tampa Bay Storm victory in front of 20,357 at Joe Louis Arena. Storm wr-db Stevie Thomas is named MVP scoring 4 tds, including the game-winner with 39 seconds remaining.
