Family Reunion

Last week he said good-bye to a close friend. This week he’ll be reunited someone he’s not nearly as fond of. T.T. Toliver was ready for this game as soon as the last game ended. The Tampa Bay Storm are coming to Nashville.

Last season Toliver led Tampa Bay in all-purpose yards. This year he languished on the bench before Storm head coach Tim Marcum traded him to the Kats for the rights to Fred Booker, who is on the other league exempt list. "I guess Coach Marcum just got tired of me and wanted to see me somewhere else," Toliver said, "So here is that place I’m at."

Toliver has scored two touchdowns in each of his two games since joining the Kats. This week he doesn’t have a specific number in mind – he just says he’ll score "enough" – but he does have a goal.

"I’m looking at it like it’s a playoff game, especially because he [Marcum] was my coach and I’ve still got something to prove, that I am one of the top two way players in the league."

He’s already convinced his new teammates and the fans in Nashville, who enjoy his all out effort. He’s quickly become a favorite target of quarterback Leon Murray. He speaks quietly, but if things go well this Sunday he’ll be heard over the Storm.
