Utah Benches MVP Quarterback and Wins(6/18) The Tommy Grady era is over… At the very least it's suspended. After winning the AFL MVP award last season, Tommy Grady has come out with a big large thud this season and after only 11 games he had already tied the all time AFL single season interception record. Apparently the team management really didn't want him to break it in week 12. Grady wasn't even suited up for the game against the Jacksonville Sharks.

Bad Decisions in Final Minute Cost Rush Against Talons(6/16) The Chicago Rush went into Saturday night’s game with a game and half lead over their Central Division opponent, the San Antonio Talons. For over fifty seven minutes, it appeared as if the Rush would take control of the game and the division and put themselves in a solid position for a playoff spot. Unfortunately for them, a full game is sixty minutes!

In a Battle to the End the SaberCats Fall to the Barnstormers 73-68(6/16) The Iowa Barnstormers (6-7) came away from this tough matchup against the San Jose SaberCats (8-4) with a 73-68 victory after playing well in every phase of the game. The SaberCats got off to a rough start against the Barnstormers on Saturday as they began the game with a crucial fumble by kick returner Fred Williams on the opening kickoff forced by Barnstormers fullback Kai Brown. Then Iowa recovered the ball and quickly responded with a drive downfield to take a hold of their first lead of the night. From then on throughout the first half of the game each team traded scores. The Barnstormers closed the half with a field goal to gain a three point advantage heading into the third quarter.
