To Whom it May Concern

To the Kats Receivers, holding onto the ball is the key. There were several things that people could point to as turning points in this game, including the decision to go for the two point conversion, but none of these would have mattered if a few more balls had stayed in the hands that they hit. Andy may led some of you a bit too much on some passes, but a lot of catchable balls wound up on the turf.
To Andy Kelly and Marty Lowe, even I could have picked off that endzone pass to Aaron Hamilton. Aaron’s an excellent lineman, but you can’t expect him to get separation from a good defensive back on a pass that deep.
To the Referees, why is it that you call Illegal Defense every time a lineman has his weight shifted to the wrong foot or the jack linebacker has the wrong arm tied behind his back, but you’re totally oblivious to Pass Interference? All these little nothing calls ruin the flow of the game. And it makes you guys look bad when you flag the technicalities that don’t affect the play, and then overlook the major infractions that could affect the outcome of a game. I’m not talking about just this game, it’s been on both sides of nearly every game I’ve seen.
To Jay Gruden, we all knew you’d get the Preds turned around. Congratulations. See you in the postseason.
To Pat Sperduto, I feel sorry for whoever had the seat next to you on the flight back to Nashville. It was another tough loss, but to be 3-2 with as tough a schedule as you’ve had – and doing it without Cory Fleming, Jeff Russell, et al – that ain’t bad.
