An unfortunate occurrence took place after our recent game between the San Jose Sabercats and the Jacksonville Sharks. I issued the following statement yesterday: “The altercation that took place between two of our Teams Saturday night was not at all the level of professional conduct expected at an Arena Football League event. We take the safety of all our players and staff very seriously so a full independent investigation into the incident has been initiated.”

San Antonio Talons (4-4) opened up Week 9 of the season with a 57-33 win over the Cleveland Gladiators (2-6) at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Talons quarterback Nick Hill finished with 239 Yds passing and 3 TDs and also, proved to be San Antonio's best offensive weapon of the night.

The road victory was the third straight win for the Rattlers, and could propel Arizona to an extended winning streak.
