The Orlando Predators (4-4) rallied for a dramatic 63-62 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Storm (3-4) on Saturday night in the 56th edition of the “War on I-4.” Orlando was behind by as much as three scores during the game, but the Predators overcame a 21-point fourth quarter deficit to earn an improbable victory that vaulted the team back into first place in the South Division.

TT Toliver moves into 2nd place all-time in receiving yards & receptions

TT Toliver continues to set history week in and week out for the Tampa Bay Storm. With a 9-yard catch in the second quarter on Saturday night, he moved into second place in receptions in league history, surpassing his head coach, Lawrence Samuels. Earlier in the game, Toliver passed Chris Jackson and Barry Wagner for second and third place respectively in total receiving yards in AFL history.

Tampa Bay falls in overtime, loses to the Predators 63-62

The Tampa Bay Storm (3-4, 1-1) were defeated by the Orlando Predators (4-4, 2-0) on Saturday night at the Amway Center in overtime. The night saw Storm wide receiver T.T. Toliver catch his 1,035th career pass putting him in second place all-time in Arena Football League history and ninth all-time in professional football history.

All season long, win or lose, Lawrence Samuels has preached that his Tampa Bay Storm needed to this, that, or the other as a team to succeed. All 21 men on the roster played a huge role on Saturday night in building a 55-34 lead against the Orlando Predators, and all 21 played a huge role in the ultimately losing the game 63-62 in overtime.

The Tampa Bay Storm (3-3, 1-0) heads to the Amway Center to take on the Orlando Predators (3-4, 1-0) on Saturday, May 16 in this season’s first installment of the “War on I-4.” With a win, the Storm will extend its South Division lead to a full game. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network. Fans can also listen on 1250 AM WHNZ or on the Lightning Power Play which can be found on the iHeartRadio app or TBLPowerPlay.com.
