Predators Announce the Addition of Keefe and Mays to Coaching Staff

Orlando, FL – Orlando Predators Head Coach Brett Munsey announced the addition of Rob Keefe as the team’s Offensive Coordinator and Mickey Mays as Offensive/Defensive Line Coach.
 
Keefe is a former Arena League player with the Spokane Shock and Philadelphia Soul, where he played for Munsey’s 2008 ArenaBowl Championship team. Keefe’s most recent position was Head Coach of the Spokane Shock, where he led the team to an ArenaBowl Championship in 2010.
 
“Rob is a proven winner and we’re glad to have him on board,” says Munsey. “He has a lot of passion for the Arena Football game, and he’s a great addition to the staff.”
 
New Line Coach Mickey Mays was also a part of the Philadelphia Soul’s championship season, serving as the team’s Offensive/Defensive Line Coach. Prior to joining the Soul, Mays was the defensive line and special teams coach at Charleston Southern University, and had also served as defensive line coach with the XFL’s Orlando Rage.
 
“Coach Mays is one of the best in the league, and consistently gets the most out of his players,” said Munsey.
 
Orlando’s Arena Football League franchise since 1991, the Orlando Predators are entering their 21st year in the AFL.  In that time, the Predators have advanced to the AFL Playoffs a league-leading 19 consecutive seasons and appeared in the Arena Bowl seven times, winning AFL Championships in 1998 and 2000.
