Players, dancers, mascots & Miss America to appear at inaugural ArenaBowl Kids Zone

NEW YORK – ArenaBowl XXII Weekend is full of events and the Arena Football League announced today the newest addition to the weekend with ArenaBowl XXII Kid Zone, a free event open to the public to be held on Saturday, July 26 at the New Orleans VooDoo/Saints Complex from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Appearances by the Aaron’s AFL Dream Team Dancers, team mascots, Miss America and autograph sessions with AFL players will highlight the event. Tours of the VooDoo/Saints complex are also available and AFL fans can test their skills in the Arena Skills challenge, an AFL-themed obstacle course. ArenaBowl XXII Kid Zone’s interactive area, with football-themed inflatable games, face painting, balloon sculpting, and Mardi Gras World arts and crafts, will provide entertainment for the entire family. A concert by a national recording artist is expected to be announced soon.
In addition, fans will have the opportunity to visit the Russell Athletic merchandise trailer for authentic AFL apparel and souvenirs as well as exhibitor booths for Jefferson Parish CVB, POWERade, Pop Warner Little Scholars, Greater New Orleans First Responders Fund, Louisiana Children's Museum, Susan G. Komen New Orleans Affiliate, Nola.com, WWL-TV, Radio Disney, WNOE 101.1, the Red Cross and Mitsubishi Motors Kid Safety First for demonstrations.
