Dutton, Walker and Moye-Moore Receive ArenaFan.com Week Six Honors

For their performances during the sixth week of the Arena Football League’s 2008 season, Colorado Crush quarterback John Dutton, New York Dragons linebacker John Walker and Orlando Predators fullback/linebacker Marlon Moye-Moore have been named Offensive Player of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week and Two-Way Player of the Week, respectively, by the writers and staff of ArenaFan.com.

Dutton (6.04, 225 lbs., Nevada-Reno) accounted for nine of the Crush’s ten touchdowns in the team’s 67-54 win over Los Angeles. He completed 64.0% of his passes for 334 yards with eight touchdowns and an interception. The ArenaBowl XVI MVP also had a rushing touchdown.

Others considered for Week Six’s Offensive Player of the Week: New York QB Aaron Garcia, Georgia WR Carl Morris, Dallas WR Marcus Nash and Colorado WR Ben Nelson.

Walker (6.00, 200 lbs., Southern California) intercepted Grand Rapids QB James MacPherson three times and returned one interception 15 yards for a touchdown. Walker also had 1.5 stops and two pass breakups. He had 53 total return yards on the three interceptions. His interception return for a touchdown extended the Dragons’ lead to 49-0 against the league’s highest-scoring team.

Others considered for Week Six’s Defensive Player of the Week: New Orleans DB Chris Brown, Georgia LB Cam Newton and New Orleans DB Calvin Spears.

Moye-Moore (6.01, 245 lbs., Maryland) led the Predators in tackles (7.0), including one for loss and a pass breakup on defense. He scored the game’s final points on a rushing two-point conversion in overtime.

Other considered for Week Six’s Two-Way Player of the Week: Orlando WR/KR T.T. Toliver and New Orleans WR/KR Wendall Williams.
