Prentiss, Unertl, and Pettis receive ArenaFan.com Week Two honors

Offensive Player of the Week: Kevin Prentiss scored nine touchdowns on 13 receptions for 235 yards to help the Las Vegas Gladiators defeat the Grand Rapids Rampage 79-69. Prentiss, in his second season with the Gladiators, added six kickoff returns for 80 yards.
Other players considered for the ArenaFan.com Week Two Offensive Player of the Week were Joe Germaine (Utah Blaze).
Defensive Player of the Week: Jeremy Unertl had two interceptions for 38 yards, five total tackles and four pass breakups in the Chicago Rush victory over the San Jose SaberCats. Unertl is in his fourth AFL season, joined the Rush mid-season last year and has previously played for the Columbus Destroyers and Las Vegas Gladiators.
Other players considered for the ArenaFan.com Week Two Defensive Player of the Week were Ryan Dennard (Utah Blaze), Eddie Moten (Philadelphia Soul), Dennison Robinson (Chicago Rush), and Damen Wheeler (Los Angeles Avengers).
Two-Way Player of the Week: Will Pettis caught 10 receptions for 143 yards and four touchdowns on offense, five tackles on defense and three kickoff returns for one touchdown and one missed field goal return for 18 yards on special teams in the Dallas Desperados 59-40 win over the Tampa Bay Storm. Pettis is in his fifth season with the Desperados. He was named to the All-Rookie team in 2003 and has been named to the All-Arena second team and All-Ironman team three times each.
