VooDoo activate QB D Bryant From Refused To Report list

 NEW ORLEANS (May 10, 2011) – The New Orleans VooDoo activated quarterback D Bryant from the refused to report list and placed defensive back Brian Reynolds on recallable reassignment, announced the front office on Tuesday afternoon.

Bryant (6’2” 200 lbs. Duke) signed on with the VooDoo in January, but did not attend training camp due to finishing up his graduate degree requirements. Bryant has four seasons of experience in arena football with one on the AFL level with the Kansas City Brigade in 2008. He has not played professionally since 2008.

The Detroit, Mich. native played collegiate football at Duke, quarterbacking the Blue Devils for three seasons. He started 20 of 24 games that he played in from 2000-01 while at Duke.

Bryant also played for head football coach Derek Stingley in 2007, picking up All-AF2 honors for the South Georgia Wildcats.
