Week 10 saw Aaron Garcia get off to a mediocre start for the KISS. The Spokane quarterbacks got roughed up in Arizona and several teams had low-scoring outings. It made for a rough week in fantasy as well.

We made it through a 19-week season in the AFL and the competition has ended in the Quickplay game for the 2013 season. We’ve seen amazing shootouts this season like the Spokane-Orlando 83-82 game. We’ve seen some low scoring games as well and a vast majority in between.

Last week, we saw seven of the eight playoff teams in the Arena Football team be revealed. One spot remains up for grabs on the final week while playoff seedings are still up in the air.

Last week in the league we saw blowout after blowout with most games being decided by 30 or more points. No, that is not a typo. Iowa and Orlando played the closest game with a 14-point margin. On the other end of the spectrum, San Jose demolished Pittsburgh 78-20.

Week 16 of the Arena Football League proved to be another exciting week of action with several teams wrapping up playoff spots and the postseason picture starting to take shape.

How many of you missed Arizona, Spokane, Tampa and Chicago last week? I know I did as I posted a paltry 145 points on the week. Last week saw limited options and all kinds of quarterback changes during the game as well.

This past week, we saw defenses rule. San Antonio, Jacksonville, Orlando, Cleveland, Iowa and New Orleans were each held to less than 50 points. San Jose and Utah went head-to-head and the Sabercats pulled out a 35-34 win.

Week 8 was one of the most bizarre weeks we've seen in a while in the AFL. Aaron Garcia threw for 11 touchdowns for Orlando in an 83-82 win over Spokane and TT Tolliver had an eye-popping game. San Antonio and Jacksonville combined for 64 total points...in a whole game. Cleveland upset Chicago, Pittsburgh upset Philadelphia and Iowa limited New Orleans to all of 16 points.

During the Pre-Season Fan Fest, Utah Blaze owner Kim Brown talked about “a real time fantasy football that you can watch the Blaze game either here in the arena or at home. It will be another revenue stream that the Blaze can tap into. There'll be sponsors of things like that. It's a new 'game-ification' idea that's not being done anywhere else.”

After seven weeks of Arena Football League action and six weeks of fantasy play, here is a look at some highlights from last week and the season.
