One week prior to kicking off the Arena Football League`s inaugural season, all four teams played in two 2-quarter exhibition games. Pittsburgh Gladiators beat Chicago Bruisers 20-9 and Denver Dynamite beat Washington Commandos 20-18 before an estimated crowd of 500 at the Rockford Metro Center.
