The St. Louis Stampede's inaugural regular-season home game draws 10,675 fans. St. Louis defeats the Memphis Pharaohs, 35-22.
1995-San Jose, CA
The San Jose SaberCats' inaugural regular-season home game attracts 15,105 to San Jose Arena (Compaq Center). The SaberCats lose to the Arizona Rattlers, 43-37, in overtime.
2001-Madison, WI
Memorial Coliseum hosts it's first Arena Football League contest as the Houston ThunderBears defeat the Milwaukee Mustangs, 62-43, before 3,127 witnesses.
2006-Denver, CO
Colorado Crush's Damian Harrell caught 5 touchdown receptions in a 59-35 win over the Arizona Rattlers to become the first player in AFL history to record 60 touchdown receptions in one season. A fumble recovery TD in the same game gave him a league-record 61 touchdowns for the season.
