Positive Signs Flowing Towards 2015 for Predators

(7/22) ORLANDO -- The Orlando Predators still have some unfinished business to tend to in 2014. They have a date with the Arizona Rattlers on Saturday, and they are going to be hosting the Pittsburgh Power next week in the first round of the playoffs in what will mark the team's first home playoff game since 2006. However, with an eye already turned to next season, new owner, David Siegel and his team are making a big push towards what could be a huge 2015 season off the field....

Archer has been awarded Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week, while Pittsburgh Power defensive back Virgil Gray has been awarded Riddell Defensive Player of the Week and San Jose SaberCats wide receiver Reggie Gray has been awarded J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the Week for Week 20 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season.

After sitting atop the rankings all season, the Rattlers fall to No. 3 after losing to Orlando. Pittsburgh moved to No.2 on the strength of their 30 point win against Philadelphia.

ORLANDO, FL – The Orlando Predators (11-7) made a statement in the team’s regular season finale, earning a spectacular 56-50 victory over the defending ArenaBowl Champion Arizona Rattlers (15-3) in front of a sold out crowd of 8,550 at CFE Arena on Saturday evening. The win marks just the second time in the last 11 seasons the Predators have finished the regular season with 11 or more victories.
