The Tampa Bay Storm (5-3, 2-1) fell to the San Jose SaberCats (5-2) Friday evening at the HP Pavilion, in front of a crowd 8,001 fans, by a score of 64-34. The game saw Storm quarterback Adrian McPherson rush for his 23rd touchdown of the season, breaking the Arena Football League record for most rushing touchdowns in a season by a quarterback.

The San Jose SaberCats (5-2) won their third consecutive game, defeating the Tampa Bay Storm (5-3) 64-34 in front of 8,001 fans at HP Pavilion on Friday night. Quarterback Russ Michna dazzled once again at home, completing 16-of-23 passes for 182 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. The story of the night was the SaberCats’ defensive line putting pressure on Storm quarterback Adrian McPherson.

The SaberCats (3-2) announced today that their game next week against the Tampa Bay Storm (4-2) (originally scheduled for Saturday, May 11) has been moved to Friday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. PT at HP Pavilion in San Jose. The change is due to a potential scheduling conflict involving Game 6 for the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks first round playoff series.
