Collective bargaining talks between the Arena Football League and its players association broke down Friday, but the Rush opened their 11th league season as scheduled. They were rewarded with a 70-48 victory as Russ Michna broke a franchise record with eight touchdown passes, including four to wide receiver Reggie Gray and three to Marquis Hamilton.

As we come up on the 2012 season, some things have changed in the front office for the AFL team out of Chicago. The team is now owned by the league and Gene Nudo has resigned as President and General Manager and is no longer involved with the organization.
