One area that the Chicago Rush was bragging about all throughout their training camp was their offensive line. Sometimes it is funny in this sport how one game can change the outlook of things very quickly. In their victory over the Milwaukee Mustangs, 49-41 on Monday night, the Rush suffered two key injuries on that solid offensive line.

Since 2007, Michna has spent most of his time with the Chicago Rush. He backed up Matt D’Orazio in 2007 and then started the 2008 as the back-up to Sherdrick Bonner, who is now his offensive coordinator. After Bonner got injured during the 2008 season, Michna has taken over and has not looked back.

Monday night football, Arena Football League style, rolled into the Bradley Center on Monday night as the Milwaukee Mustangs opened the season against their arch rivals from the south, the Chicago Rush. In front of 3,157 fans in attendance, the Rush would cease control in the second half and would hold on to a 49-41 win.
