Biography |
A 2004 member of the af2's Cincinnati Swarm, Obert finished his senior year at LaSalle by making 8 of 12 field goals, including a school record 52 yarder to earn First Team All-City and D-I Ohio Honorable Mention awards. At Dayton, he was named to Sports Network's I-AA Mid Major All-American First Team and Football Gazette's I-AA "Specialist of the Year" in 2002. That year he set a Flyer record making 17 of 23 field goals attempts to lead Dayton's Pioneer League champs in scoring with 99 points. Obert spent part of 2003 in camp with the Cleveland Browns.
