AFL team seeks energetic individuals

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Gladiators will hold an open audition for its 2008 Promotions Team.  The open audition will take place on Saturday, February 2nd at Tumbles and Cheers Gym in Avon, Ohio.  Registration begins at 9 a.m. and tryouts begin promptly at 10 a.m.

The Gladiators 2008 promotions team will execute all of the on-field promotions and perform college cheerleading style stunts during each home game.  This unique team is open to both males and females who are 18 years of age and older and have a high school diploma.  Participants must bring a valid photo I.D.

Females must wear a midriff top, lycra shorts and appropriate footwear.  Males should wear a tight fitting shirt, workout pants or shorts and appropriate footwear.  Candidates will be judged on stunting and tumbling ability, personality and appearance.  A cheerleading or gymnastic background is preferred but not required.  There is a $10 registration fee.
