Storm suffer heartbreaker in Cleveland, fall to Gladiators 62-54

 CLEVELAND, OH – The Tampa Bay Storm (2-3, 0-0) were defeated by the Cleveland Gladiators (3-2, 1-1), Friday evening by a score of 62-54 in front of 11,120 fans.

Storm quarterback Jason Boltus completed 25-of-38 passes for 366 yards and seven touchdowns. His favorite target of the night was wide receiver Kendrick Ings who caught 12 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns.

The Gladiators were led by quarterback Shane Austin. Austin completed 23-of-38 passes for 285 yards and six touchdowns. Cleveland’s playmaker of the game was wide receiver Collin Taylor who caught 11 passes for 111 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor would also see action on defense and hauled in a 12-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
