2010 First-Team AFL NG Returns to Defensive Line
TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm are pleased to announce the return of nose guard Tim McGill.
“Tim is a beast,” said Ewart. “He is a hard worker and has stayed in shape. Our pass rush just got better today.”
McGill, (6-foot-2, 345 lbs. Illinois) a five-year AFL veteran, returns for his fourth season with the Storm. He earned First-Team All-Arena honors in 2010 and was a finalist for the 2008 AFL Defensive Player of the Year. McGill is currently tied for the seventh most sacks in franchise history with 13.5.
The Tampa Bay Storm, currently in its bye week, return to action Friday, April 15 as the team heads to Philadelphia to take on the Soul. Kickoff is slated for 8:00 PM EST and will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
