Predators place two on All-Arena teams

Wednesday June 25, 2008

ORLANDO, FL—The Orlando Predators had Wednesday off, but the big news out of the Arena Football League office today is wide receiver T.T. Toliver making the First-Team All-Arena squad and defensive back Kenny “The Glove” McEntyre being placed on the Second-Team-All-Arena unit.

Toliver finished the season with 3,165 All-Purpose yards surpassing Barry Wagner for single-season all-purpose yards along the way.  That mark gives Toliver the fourth best all-purpose total in Arena Football League history. He scored 35 total touchdowns on the season, compiling 31 receiving, three kick returns, and one rushing score. Toliver’s 1,645 receiving yards overtaking Cory Fleming for the best mark in team history.

McEntyre set a league record for interceptions returned for touchdowns in 2008 as he had four on the year.  His eight interceptions led the Predators and he finished tied for fifth in the league in that category. McEntyre was fourth on the Preds in tackles with 57.5 and tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles.

The Predators return to action Monday night June 30th as they face the Cleveland Gladiators at 7 p.m. live on ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD.
