National Conference
1 – Tennessee Valley (6-0). The Vipers take control of the Southern Division with a win over Birmingham.
2 – Tulsa (6-1). Keonta Golson catches four TD passes in a 73-48 win over the Islanders.
3 – Birmingham (5-2). Once again, the Steeldogs drop an important game to Tennessee Valley.
4 – Peoria (5-2). Somehow, the Pirates get out of Bakersfield with an overtime win.
5 – Quad Cities (5-1). Ira Gooch finishes with 341 all-purpose yards in a Steamwheeler win over Wichita.
6– Arkansas (4-3). The Twisters sack Tim Lester six times in a win over Memphis.
7 – Memphis (4-3). Xplorers are on a two-game losing streak.
8 – Bossier City (4-3). Second place in the Central division is on the line when Bossier City hosts Memphis on Saturday.
9 – Bakersfield (4-2). The Blitz lose a heartbreaker in OT to Peoria.
10 – Fresno (2-5). The Frenzy are on a two-game winning streak.
11 – San Diego (3-4). The Riptide host division leading Bakersfield in an important game this Saturday.
12 – Pensacola (2-4). QB Charles Peterson throws for 328 yards in a loss to Macon.
13 – Wichita (1-6). The Stealth host the Steamwheelers this weekend for the second half of the home-home series.
14 – Hawaiian (1-6). The Islanders drop their sixth in a row after a loss to Tulsa.
15 – Louisville (0-6). Another disappointing loss – this time to Columbus, 34-31.
16 – Mobile (0-7). No offensive TD’s for the Wizards in over eight quarters.

American Conference
1 – Richmond (7-0). The Speed leave Greensboro very fortunate to be undefeated.
2 – Augusta (6-0). The Stallions match last season’s 6-0 start.
3 – Macon (5-2). The Knights take advantage of Pensacola mistakes in beating the Barracudas, 80-65.
4 – Albany (5-1).The Conquest post an impressive win over Roanoke, 37-32.
5 – Cape Fear (4-2). The Wildcats move back into second place in the Atlantic division with their win over Norfolk.
6 – Tallahassee (4-2). The Thunder win their third in a row.
7 – Roanoke (4-3). Bankruptcy, and a loss to Albany all in one week.
8 – Charleston (3-3). QB Ray Isaac scores 5 TD’s in a close win over Jacksonville, 67-64.
9 – Jacksonville (2-4). The Tomcats host Florida in an important division battle.
10 – Rochester (4-3). Derek Baker scores four times as the Brigade edges Mohegan.
11 – Florida (3-3). The Firecats blow a 13 point lead in the final minutes to lose, 40-37.
12 – Carolina (2-4). The Rhinos stumble at home against Augusta.
13 – Greensboro (2-5). The Prowlers blow a 20-point third quarter lead to Richmond.
14 – Columbus (2-4). Wardogs get their first road win in franchse history in beaing Louisville, 34-31.
15 – New Haven ( 2-4). Ninja’s two-game winning streak ends at home against Scranton
16 – Norfolk (1-5). New QB Chris Wallace makes his debut in a loss to Cape Fear.
17 – Mohegan (2-5). The Wolves suffer another close loss as they fall to Rochester.
18 – W.B./Scranton (1-6). The Pioneers finally break into the win column by defeating New Haven, 44-37.
