Rattlers can clinch a playoff berth with a win this weekend

Team guaranteed a trip to the playoffs with a win over the Orlando Predators
MESA, Ariz. – The playoff-guaranteed Arizona Rattlers will become the playoff-bound Arizona Rattlers with a win this weekend against the Orlando Predators in Florida.
“Obviously, our goal has always been to make the playoffs,” said Rattlers Head Coach KEVIN GUY. “But in the bigger picture, our goal has always been to host a home playoff game as well. We’re not in the playoffs yet, and we still have some unfinished business.”
The Rattlers (6-6) currently sit third in the American Conference behind division leaders Chicago and San Jose. If the season ended today, Arizona would be in a position to host a home playoff game.
But first, Arizona takes on the Orlando Predators (8-5), who currently lead the National Conference’s Southern Division by a half-game over Georgia and New Orleans. Fans can catch all the action from Orlando this Saturday night by logging onto www.azrattlers.com, and listening to the team’s live radio broadcast with Craig Grialou calling the game. Kickoff is slated for 4:30pm PT.
Arizona can also clinch a playoff berth through two other scenarios. If Colorado (vs. New York) and Kansas City (at Chicago) both lose, the Rattlers would clinch a playoff berth with either a loss by the Utah Blaze (at Grand Rapids) or losses by both the Grand Rapids Rampage (vs. Utah) and the Los Angeles Avengers (vs. San Jose).
The 2008 Arizona Rattlers have guaranteed their season ticket holders a trip to the playoffs. Any Rattlers fan who purchases or renews season tickets between now and June 23rd will be guaranteed FREE PLAYOFF TICKETS for the 2008 season.
