Dallas activates QB Clint Dolezel; place WR Josh Bush on IR

DALLAS, Texas –
The Dallas Desperados activated QB Clint Dolezel (6-5, 205) from the Reserve/Injured list and placed WR Josh Bush (5-9, 170) on the Reserve/Injured list with a hamstring injury today.

Dolezel missed the past four games after injuring his throwing shoulder in Week One against the Georgia Force (3/1). Despite the injury at Georgia, Dolezel remained in the game to complete 27-of-38 passes for 283 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception to earn Offensive Player of the Game honors. Dolezel, a 13-year veteran, is the AFL’s all-time passing touchdown leader (872) and ranks second all-time in completions (3,521) and is third in attempts (5,344) and passing yards (41,811).

Bush, a five-year AFL veteran, has played in three games this season to total 11 receptions for 92 yards with one touchdown. He has also returned eight kickoffs for 156 yards. Bush suffered the hamstring injury against the San Jose SaberCats (3/22).

The Desperados square off against Eastern Division rival Cleveland Gladiators on Saturday, April 5 with a 7 p.m. (CST) kickoff at the American Airlines Center.
