American Conference
1 – Richmond (6-0). The Speed get a scare from Cape Fear, but win 36-28.
2 – Augusta (4-0). Remember when Augusta began the season 6-0 in 2001 and failed to make the playoffs?
3 – Macon (4-1). The Knights edge Jacksonville 50-47 in front of family and friends.
4 – Florida (3-1). Turnovers hurt the Firecats in a 49-31 loss to Birmingham.
5- Albany (3-1). The Conquest come off of their bye-week by travelling to Mohegan.
6 – Roanoke (3-2). Starting QB Chris Sanders is injured in a win at WB/Scranton.
7 – Cape Fear (2-2). The Wildcats come close, but fall at Richmond 36-28.
8 – Tallahassee (2-2). QB Chris Perkins throws TD’s in a 70-49 win over Charleston.
9 – Jacksonville (1-3). Tomcats come from 29 points back, but fall 50-47.
10 – Charleston (2-2). Charleston QB’s are sacked 6 times in a loss to Tallahassee.
11 – Carolina (1-3). Rhino’s offense comes alive in a 82-60 win over Greensboro.
12 – New Haven (2-3). The Ninja’s win their second in a row.
13 – Greensboro (2-3). Prowlers lose a high scoring game to Carolina, 82-60.
14 – Rochester (2-3). The Brigade are up one week, and down the next.
15 – Norfolk (1-3). The Nighthawks finally win as they edge Mohegan in OT, 58-51.
16 – Mohegan (2-3). The Wolves drop their second in a row.
17 – Columbus (1-3). Wardogs hung with Augusta, but fell 55-39.
18 – W.B./Scranton (0-5). The same old problems of turnovers and penalties plague the Pioneers.

National Conference
1 – Tennessee Valley (4-0). Vipers have a huge game at Memphis on Saturday.
2 – Quad Cities (4-0). The bye-week was needed as the Steamwheelers were banged up.
3 – Tulsa (4-1). Mitch Allner scores 5 TD’s in a win over Hawaiian, 50-47.
4 – Memphis (4-1). QB Tim Lester throws for 7 TD’s as the Xplorers romp, 80-18.
5 – Birmingham (4-1). The Steeldogs win a huge game game at Florida, 49-31.
6 – Arkansas (3-2). The Viper’s defense shuts down Arkansas in a 44-30 loss.
7 – Bakersfield (4-1). QB Chad Elliott throws for 352 yards in a win over Fresno.
8 – Pensacola (2-2). Pensacola wins a thriller against Bossier City, 47-40.
9 – Bossier City (2-3). The Battle Wings turn over the ball 4 times in a loss to Pensacola.
10 – Peoria (3-2). Pirates defense looked good in a 45-18 win over Wichita.
11 – San Diego (2-3). The Riptide defense leads San Diego past Louisville, 68-27.
12 – Wichita (1-4). And yet, the Stealth own the final playoff spot in the Midwest Division.
13 – Hawaiian (1-4). Islanders drop their fourth in a row.
14 – Louisville (0-5). The only non-expansion team without a victory.
15 – Fresno (0-5). The offense is scoring points, but the defense is giving up even more.
16 – Mobile (0-5). Playing their first home game doesn’t help as Mobile is beaten 80-18.
