Chicago's Harrell looks to break receiving touchdowns record against former team
Friday March 21, 2008
NEW YORK – Chicago Rush WR DAMIAN HARRELL can become the all-time leader in receiving touchdowns when the Rush (2-1) welcome Harrell’s former team, the Colorado Crush (1-1), to Allstate Arena on Saturday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET (FSN Rocky Mountain – Live, CSN Chicago – Live, AFL NET, SIRIUS Radio – Channel 130) in a Mitsubishi Motors Central Division matchup.
Harrell needs two receiving touchdowns to pass EDDIE BROWN (303) for the all-time lead with 304 career. Now in his 10th AFL season, Harrell spent the previous five seasons (2003-07) with Colorado before signing with Chicago this past offseason.
During his tenure with the Crush, Harrell became a two-time AFL Offensive Player of the Year (2005-06), recorded 229 receiving touchdowns and led Colorado to an ArenaBowl XIX Championship in 2005.
