1 – Richmond (4-0). The Speed take care of another expansion team in pounding New Haven, 62-20.
2 - Macon (3-0). This time, it is Macon’s defense that leads them to victory, 38-33.
3 – Albany (3-0). O.S. Corey Hill scores three times in a 34-28 win over W.B./Scranton.
4 – Augusta (2-0). Nice last second win on the road against Cape Fear.
5 – Florida (2-0). Big test for the Firecats this weekend at Memphis.
6 – Charleston (2-0). When QB Ray Isaac is healthy, Charleston is dangerous.
7 – Cape Fear (2-1). Wildcats suffer their first lost, 45-44 to Augusta.
8 – Mohegan (2-1). The Wolves pull off a big road win in Rochester, 54-45.
9 – Columbus (1-1). The 17-game losing streak is over.
10 – Tallahassee (1-2). The Thunder have a bye week to try and regroup.
11 – Carolina (0-2). The Rhinos 8-game home winning streak ends with a loss to Macon.
12 – Roanoke (1-2). The Steam get a big overtime win on the road against Greensboro.
13 – Greensboro (1-2). The Prowlers blow a 4th quarter lead and fall, 59-56.
14 – Rochester (1-2). Only 133 yards of offense and ten penalties in a loss to Mohegan.
15 – Jacksonville (0-2). Offense comes up M.I.A. in a 19-14 loss to Columbus.
16 – New Haven (0-3). The Ninjas will try and turn it around Saturday as they host Mohegan.
17 – W.B./Scranton (0-3). Pioneers come close, but fall 34-28.
18 – Norfolk (0-3). Nighthawks hope their bye-week was enough time to prepare for Richmond this weekend.
National Conference
1 – Memphis (3-0). Tim Lester to Russell Copeland is the league’s hottest combination.
2 – Tennessee Valley (2-0). Viper’s offense is in mid-season form in a 72-28 win over Mobile.
3 – Quad City (3-0). QB Tony Zimmerman passes for 7 TD’s and runs for two more in a 69-39 win.
4 – Bakerfield (3-0). The Blitz take over sole posession of first in the West.
5 – Peoria (2-1). Pirates take out their anger by pounding Fresno, 60-13.
6 – Tulsa (2-1). Talons bounce back with a 20-point win at San Diego.
7 – Arkansas (2-1). A ‘machine-like’ performance in beating Wichita, 60-13.
8 – Bossier City (1-2). Played Memphis tough in a loss on the road.
9 – Birmingham (2-1). Steeldogs win their second in a row with a 70-40 win at Pensacola.
10 – San Diego (1-2). Riptide have a tough road game Saturday at Arkansas.
11 – Pensacola (0-2). Penalties plague the Barracudas in a loss against Birmingham.
12 – Hawaiian (1-2). Islanders fall at Quad City in their first road game of the season.
13 – Louisville (0-3). A disappointing start for new head coach Jeff Brohm.
14 – Mobile (0-3). A tough early schedule makes their record a bit misleading.
15 – Wichita (0-3). The Stealth need to turn things around…..and fast.
16 – Fresno (0-3). Things don’t get any easier as they host Quad City Saturday.
