1 – Richmond (3-0). The Speed look to be the chased, rather than the chaser in 2002.

2 – Macon (2-0). Mike Gluski throws 5 TD’s in a 48-42 win over Tallahassee.

3 – Cape Fear (2-0). The best defense in the af2?

4 – Albany (2-0). Conquest find themselves in first in the Northeast Division.

5 – Florida (2-0). John Fourcade’s new look Firecats look much improved.

6 – Augusta (1-0). Tough road game this weekend against undefeated Cape Fear.

7 – Charleston (1-0). Swamp Foxes open season with a road win at Greensboro.

8 – Tallahassee (1-1). Late addition of Chris Windsor at QB will help the Thunder.

9 – Carolina (0-1). Rhinos have a Week 1 rematch this weekend against Macon

10 – Mohegan ( 1-1). Coach Gary Porter gets the expansion Wolves their first win.

11 – Rochester (1-1). Brigade lose an early Northeast Division game to Albany.

12 – Greensboro (1-1). Prowlers passing offense falls flat in loss to Charleston.

13 – Jacksonville (0-1). A ‘trap’ road game awaits Jacksonville vs. winless Columbus.

14 – Columbus (0-1). Wardogs commit five turnovers to lose their 17th in a row.

15 – Roanoke (0-2). Had a much needed off-week after consectutive losses to Richmond.

16 – New Haven (0-2). Ninjas need to get their offense started.

17 – Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (0-2). Big division match-up with expansion Albany on Saturday.

18 – Norfolk (0-2). Injuries and turnovers plague the Nighthawks.


National Conference
1 – Memphis (2-0). New head coach Danton Barto has turned around the Xplorers.

2 – Tennessee Valley (1-0). Vipers have home opener this Saturday vs. Mobile.

3 – Quad City (2-0). Steamwheelers are suddenly transforming into a 4th quarter team.

4 – Bakersfield (2-0). Blitz once again make halftime adjustments to come from behind and win.

5 – Bossier City (1-1). Defense forces four turnovers to knock off Tulsa.

6 – Tulsa (1-1). Offense comes up flat in loss to Bossier City.

7 – Peoria (1-1). Pirates lose a heartbreaker in final seconds to Memphis, 49-48.

8 – Arkansas (1-1). Five sacks by the Twister defense lead to a win over Wichita.

9 – Birmingham (1-1). New QB Montressa Kirby is picking up right where Chris Windsor left off.

10 – San Diego (1-1). Win their first game in franchise history vs. Fresno, 69-52.

11 – Pensacola (0-1). Barracudas used their bye-week to regroup after an opening week loss at Tallahassee.

12 – Louisville (0-2). Fire lose their first two games, both at home.

13 – Hawaiian (1-1). Islanders to make their first trip to the mainland to play Quad City.

14 – Mobile (0-2). Tough schedule only gets worse with two upcoming road games.

15 – Wichita (0-2). Offense looks bad in their first two losses.

16 – Fresno (0-2). Frenzy head to the Midwest to play an angry Peoria Pirate club.
