2 Tennessee Valley (14-2) Once again, the Vipers must come from behind to win.
3- Tulsa (13-3) The Talons go on the road to defeat Louisville, 70-57.
4 Richmond (13-3) Richmond takes advantage of Charleston turnovers to win, 55-30.
5 Tallahassee (11-5) The Southeast Division champs end the season on an eight game winning streak.
6 Carolina (12-4) The Rhinos make the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row.
7 Birmingham (12-4) Birmingham breaks their two game losing streak with a win over Memphis.
8 Macon (10-6) The only expansion team to make the playoffs.
9 Iowa (9-7) The Barnstormers finish the season with a five game winning streak.
10 Baton Rouge (10-6) Tied Macon for the best record among expansion teams.
11 Jacksonville (9-7) The Tomcats finish strong and show promise for next year.
12 Bossier City (7-9) The Battle Wings end the season with a disappointing last second loss.
13 Augusta (9-7) A complete and total collapse at the end of the season.
14 Florida (7-9) Coach Jim Jensen had the Firecats playing well to finish the season.
15 Norfolk (7-9) Norfolk finished 7-5 under Head Coach Mike Buck.

17 Wichita (7-9) The Stealth turn the ball over six times in a 29-6 loss to Lincoln.
18 Roanoke (9-7) Three weeks ago it looked as if the Steam could reach the playoffs.
19 Peoria (7-9) Peoria fumbles the ball away 5 times in a 45-7 loss to Quad City.
20 Arkansas (6-10) A tough schedule and pre-season disruptions hurt the Twisters this season.
21 Charleston (7-9) Charleston began the season with a four game winning streak.
22 Louisville (6-10) Not a bad season for an expansion team in a very tough division.
23 Rochester (4-12) The Brigade will be the veteran team up in the Northeast Division next season.
24 Memphis (3-13) They played a lot of teams tough just ask Tennessee Valley.
25 Pensacola (5-11) The Barracudas end a long season on a high note beating Columbus, 54-16.
26 Greensboro (5-11) After a nice start, the Prowlers faded during June and July.
27 Lafayette (3-13) The Roughnecks end their season carrying a six game losing streak.
28 Columbus (0-16) You have to figure it can only get better in 2002.
