– Quad City (15-1) – The Steamwheelers hold Peoria to 7 points in their two meetings.

– Tennessee Valley (14-2) – Once again, the Vipers must come from behind to win.

- Tulsa (13-3) – The Talons go on the road to defeat Louisville, 70-57.

– Richmond (13-3) – Richmond takes advantage of Charleston turnovers to win, 55-30.

– Carolina (12-4) – The Rhinos make the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row.

– Birmingham (12-4) – Birmingham breaks their two game losing streak with a win over Memphis.

– Macon (10-6) – The only expansion team to make the playoffs.

– Iowa (9-7) – The Barnstormers finish the season with a five game winning streak.

– Baton Rouge (10-6) – Tied Macon for the best record among expansion teams.

– Jacksonville (9-7) – The Tomcats finish strong and show promise for next year.

– Bossier City (7-9) – The Battle Wings end the season with a disappointing last second loss.

– Augusta (9-7) – A complete and total collapse at the end of the season.

– Florida (7-9) – Coach Jim Jensen had the Firecats playing well to finish the season.

– Norfolk (7-9) – Norfolk finished 7-5 under Head Coach Mike Buck.

– Lincoln (6 –10) – The Lightning won 4 of their last 6 to close the season.

– Wichita (7-9) – The Stealth turn the ball over six times in a 29-6 loss to Lincoln.

– Roanoke (9-7) – Three weeks ago it looked as if the Steam could reach the playoffs.

– Peoria (7-9) – Peoria fumbles the ball away 5 times in a 45-7 loss to Quad City.

– Arkansas (6-10) – A tough schedule and pre-season disruptions hurt the Twisters this season.

– Charleston (7-9) – Charleston began the season with a four game winning streak.

– Louisville (6-10) – Not a bad season for an expansion team in a very tough division.

– Rochester (4-12) – The Brigade will be the veteran team up in the Northeast Division next season.

– Memphis (3-13) – They played a lot of teams tough – just ask Tennessee Valley.

– Pensacola (5-11) – The Barracudas end a long season on a high note beating Columbus, 54-16.

– Greensboro (5-11) – After a nice start, the Prowlers faded during June and July.

– Lafayette (3-13) – The Roughnecks end their season carrying a six game losing streak.

– Columbus (0-16) – You have to figure it can only get better in 2002.
