But now it is the reality. And I know you all, just like me, feel helpless. You want to shake your fist and cry out to those who might listen -- you want to be the voice of reason that can persuade the owners and the players to come together. But you are only one voice. You are only one person.
The staff and I would like to make Arenafan a forum for your cries and your suggestions. We call out to the players, the fans, the coaches, the front office personnel, the referees, whoever! Send us your perspective on these troubled times. Write us viewpoint articles, compose sets of solutions.
Use Arenafan to post any calls to action you are planning. If you need fan/user opinions, we`ll add your questions to our polls. We WILL post your views.
The only thing we can do now is try to resolve this problem. I think there`s still reason to hope. And maybe together we can do just enough to help put all of this behind us.
Let`s do more than just hope.
Kevin Sheller ia founder of Arenafan Online and was the principal owner until 2004. Kevin graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in technical writing, and has been a member of the Arena Football Internet community since 1993. He has worked as a professional web programmer and is also the executive producer for a computer/video game company. The most recent Xbox title to his credit is called Hunter: The Reckoning.
