1 – Quad City (5-0) – Bossier City leaves the ‘Wheelers a wake-up call.

2a – Augusta (5-0) – Could have beaten Columbus by 100.

2b – Tennessee Valley (5-0) – QB Matt Sauk throws 6 TD’s in win vs. Baton Rouge.

4 – Tulsa (5-0) – Quad City comes in to town Saturday for the Talon’s Arena Cup.

5 – Charleston (4-1) – Offense fails Swamp Foxes as they lose their 1st game of 2001.

6 – Carolina (4-1) – Rhino’s defense carries them to their 4th straight victory.

7 – Birmingham (4-1) – Steeldogs start fast and then hold on for a 60-49 win.

8 – Richmond (4-1) – 5 TDs by Jeff Townsley lead Richmond to their 2nd straight win.

9 – Jacksonville (4-1) – Tomcats escape with a 41-38 win at home.

10 – Wichita (3-2) – QB Zach Siegrist returns and Stealth beat Lincoln 48-37.

11 – Baton Rouge (3-2) – 6 turnovers against Tennessee Valley do in the Blaze.

12 – Greensboro (3-2) – Defense shuts out Charleston in the 2nd half for a huge win.

13 – Peoria (3-2) – The Pirates are turning things around, but Birmingham is up next.

14 – Pensacola (2-3) – Barracudas lose another close one – this time it’s a missed FG.

15 – Macon (2-3) – Inconsistent Knights are up one week, down the next.

16 – Lafayette (2-3) – ‘Necks can’t recover from 48-14 hole – Birmingham wins 60-49

17 – Tallahassee (2-3) – WR James Dickerson has a huge night in a 60-45 win.

18 – Bossier City (1-4) – Much, much better than their 1-4 record.

19 – Lincoln (2-3) – Lightning lose a crucial Midwest Division battle vs. Wichita.

20 – Arkansas (1-4) – 5 TD passes by QB Ricky Hebert leads the Twisters to victory.

21 – Norfolk (1-4) - … …but new Head Coach Mike Buck has ‘his’ Nighthawks 1-0.

22 – Rochester (1-4) – If the Brigade could just put together an offense……..

23 – Florida (1-4) – Late interception return for TD costs the Firecats another one.

24 – Roanoke (1-4) – Steam suffer a tough loss to winless Norfolk.

25 – Iowa (1-4) – QB Anthony Buich sacked 5 times in a 48-34 loss.

26 – Louisville (1-4) – The Fire turnover the ball 8 times in a loss to Tulsa.

27 – Columbus (0-5) – Way too many problems to list here.

28 – Memphis (0-5) – Xplorers fall behind 21-0 early in a loss to Arkansas.
