1 – Quad City Steamwheelers (2-0) – Dominating!

2 – Augusta Stallions (3-0) – Beat a good Florida Firecat team on the road.

3 – Tennessee Valley Vipers (2-0) – Big night for OS Kelly Fields in a 47-27 win.

4 – Charleston Swamp Foxes (2-0) – With QB Ray Isaac healthy, they’re dangerous.

5 – Richmond Speed (2-0) – Big early season game with the Vipers on Saturday.

6 – Tulsa Talons (2-0) – They play better and look better in their new jerseys.

7 – Birmingham Stallions (2-0) – Two road wins is always a great way to start season.

8 – Jacksonville Tomcats (2-0) – QB Jeff McCrone throws for 5 TD’s vs. Tallahassee.

9 – Wichita Stealth (2-0) – Great start, but a huge test vs. Charleston on Saturday.

10 – Carolina Rhinos (1-1) – Nice bounce back win on the road against Pensacola.

11 – Macon Knights (1-1) – Proving to be a tough expansion team in the af2.

12 – Pensacola Barracudas (1-1) – Barracuda offense falls flat in home opener.

13 – Bossier City BattleWings (1-1) – Impressive road win up in Lincoln, 70-36.

14 – Rochester Brigade (1-1) – 8,513 watch the Brigade get their 1st win.

15 – Baton Rouge Blaze (1-1) – Only 3,217 for the Blaze home opener.

16 – Lafayette Roughnecks (1-1) – O-Line gives up 5 sacks in loss to a good Tulsa team.

17 – Lincoln Lightning (1-1) – 6 big turnovers in disappointing loss to BattleWings.

18 – Greensboro Prowlers (1-1) – Only 103 total yards of offense against Macon.

19 – Florida Firecats (1-1) – Tough Augusta defense shuts down the Firecats.

20 – Peoria Pirates (1-1) – Still very disorganized, but they pull out a big win vs. Arkansas.

21 – Arkansas Twisters (0-2) – Another close loss for a revamped Twister team.

22 – Tallahassee Thunder (0-2) – Lost a close one to Jacksonville in home opener.

23 – Iowa Barnstormers (0-2) – An 0-2 start, a new starting QB, Quad City up next…what next, locusts?

24 – Norfolk Nighthawks (0-3) – From the playoffs in 2000 to winless in 2001.

25 – Roanoke Steam (0-2) – Roanoke needs to turn things around……quickly!

26 – Louisville Fire (0-2) – 12,527 fans watch an improving Louisville team.

27 – Memphis Xplorers (0-2) – Two losses to the top 2 teams in 2000. It’ll happen to anyone.

28 – Columbus Wardogs (0-2) – It won’t get any easier at Augusta on Saturday.
