– Quad City Steamwheeelers (1-0) – To be the man, you have to beat the man.

–Augusta Stallions (2-0) – QB Jermaine Alfred is the real deal.

– Tennessee Valley Vipers (1-0) – New Head Coach Bret Munsey has a solid team.

– Richmond Speed (1-0) – OS Jeff Townsley scores 5 TD’s against Roanoke.

– Charleston Swamp Foxes (1-0) – May be the league’s most improved team.

– Tulsa Talons (1-0) – The Talons escape with an overtime win on the road.

– Pensacola Barracudas (1-0) – Huge 4th quarter in Norfolk may be a sign of things to come.

– Birmingham Steeldogs (1-0) – 5 TD passes from returning QB Chris Windsor in win.

– Jacksonville Tomcats (1-0) – Very lucky to come away with a win at home against Florida.

– Baton Rouge Blaze (1-0) - Impressive road win for this expansion team.

– Wichita Stealth (1-0) – Stealth takes advantage of 7 Louisville turnovers in win.

– Lafayette Roughnecks (1-0) – Expansion Roughnecks put up 71 points in their opener.

– Macon Knights (0-1) – Experienced head coach and QB. The Knights will be just fine.

– Florida Firecats (0-1) – Much like Macon, Florida has the veterans to cause some damage.

– Lincoln Lightning (1-0) – QB Josh Luedtke throws 4 TD’s in the Lightning’s opener.

– Greensboro Prowlers (1-0) – Prowlers can’t expect to score 24 points every week and win.

– Carolina Rhinos (0-1) – Slow start against Charleston costs the Rhinos.

– Iowa Barnstormers (0-1) – Opening up the season on the road vs. 2 former IFL teams.

– Bossier City BattleWings (0-1) – Only a late missed extra point keeps them from winning.

– Arkansas Twisters (0-1) – Nice effort after all of their pre-season problems.

– Rochester Brigade (0-1) – Two Canadian starters unable to travel with team in loss, eh.

– Tallahassee Thunder (0-1) – Practicing outdoors all pre-seaon costs them in Arena opener.

– Memphis Explorers (0-1) – Lose by 41 to the Vipers. Now they play Quad City. Ouch!

– Peoria Pirates (0-1) – A lot of problems to solve before Arkansas comes to town.

– Roanoke Steam (0-1) – The more things change the more they stay the same.

– Norfolk Nighthawks (0-1) – Not exactly living up to all that pre-season hype.

– Columbus Wardogs (0-1) – Disappointing home opener. Now Charleston comes to town.

– Louisville Fire (0-1) – Welcome to the af2!
