McPherson, Trufant, Marshall receive ArenaFan.com Week Six honors

Offensive Player of the Week: Adrian McPherson had 271 yards on 18-of-29 passing for six touchdowns through the air, and ran seven times for 51 yards and two touchdowns as the Austin Wranglers knocked off the Utah Blaze 65-64. He threw no interceptions in the game, and his longest touchdown pass and run were 43 and 17 yards respectively. McPherson, who is in his second AFL season, was AFL Rookie of the Year in 2004 with the Indiana Firebirds.
Other players considered for the ArenaFan.com Week Six Offensive Player of the Week were Troy Bergeron (Georgia Force), Chris Greisen (Georgia Force), Mark Grieb (San Jose SaberCats), and Bobby Sippio (Chicago Rush).
Defensive Player of the Week: Isaiah Trufant had one interception for four yards, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery to help the Kansas City Brigade stop the Las Vegas Gladiators 65-31. He also added 4.5 tackles and four pass breakups in the win. Trufant is in his first AFL season.
Other players considered for the ArenaFan.com Week Six Defensive Player of the Week were Rashad Floyd (Colorado Crush), Jeroid Johnson (Tampa Bay Storm), Khalid Naziruddin (Tampa Bay Storm), Clevan Thomas (San Jose SaberCats), and Nyle Wiren (Tampa Bay Storm).
2-Way Player of the Week: Timon Marshall scored three touchdowns on ten catches for 92 yards and 116 kickoff return yards in the Grand Rapids Rampage 66-53 win over the New York Dragons. In all, Marshall finished with 225 total yards as he added ten rushing yards and another seven on a missed field goal return. Marshall, who was named to the All-Ironman team in 2006, is in his third season with the Rampage.
