Gladiators to Host Salute the Troops Night this Saturday

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Gladiators, presented by Unique Home Solutions, will host “Salute the Troops Night at The Q” this Saturday when they take on the defending Arena Football League champions, the Philadelphia Soul, at 7:00 pm.
The first 10,000 fans will receive a Gladiators Salute the Troops T-Shirt courtesy of Ohio Lottery. Free admission will also be granted to anyone presenting a valid Military ID.
Gladiators defensive lineman Willie McGinnis spoke about this week about his personal connection to the armed forces.
“My brother is in the military and I have a lot of family that is either going into the military or who have had prior service in the military,” McGinnis said. “Not only that but there are a lot of [my teammates] who know people or grew up with people who are in the military. So, for us it kind of hits home for everybody and it’s a good feeling to see us give respect where respect is due.”
Like every Gladiators home game this season, Saturday’s contest will feature $1 sodas and $2 draft beers as well as a post-game field party presented by University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center where fans will have the opportunity to meet the players and kick field goals.
