Incredible Father’s Day “Four Pack Special” Extended for July 27 at Amway Center

ORLANDO – June 18, 2015 – A week after reclaiming the AFL South Division lead, the Orlando Predators (7-5) travel west to face the Arizona Rattlers (9-2). While Predators head coach Rob Keefe isn’t one to take anything for granted, he is very optimistic about a great flight home from Phoenix on Father’s Day.

“I’d love for these guys, many who are fathers themselves, to be able to celebrate Father’s Day with a victory in Arizona, said Keefe.”

Father’s Day has special meaning for Orlando defensive end Meshak Williams, as both a son and a dad.

“My father passed away when I was 17. He was always there with me, and since he passed (my uncle) would be the father figure in my life. Now I have a daughter. Every time I see her in the morning it’s a blessing. I keep a smile on her face and she keeps a smile on mine. Knowing that she’s in the stands it makes me play even harder.”

Versatile quarterback Bernard Morris, who amassed five touchdowns in week 13, says he’s looking forward to spending Father’s Day with his four-year-old son, Semaj.

“It’s a joy. He looks identical to me especially when he gets a haircut. I can’t really put it in words, I just want him to grow up and try to fit in these shoes, if not grow out of them.”

And while Semaj is a bit too little to talk about being a son on Father’s Day, Keefe has no trouble introducing us to his father.

“He’s always there for me, definitely supporting me in this crazy journey that arena football is. He knew I had a dream and goal to be a head coach and he supports me every step of the way. I can’t wait till they come down here and visit, I love him to death.”

Make plans to attend the Predators’ next home game vs. the New Orleans Voodoo, and take advantage of a great special in honor of Dad’s big day. For only $60, you get 4 Lower Bowl Tickets, a Voucher for a complimentary dinner for Dad at any Gator’s Dockside in Central Florida, and a chance for Dad to be selected to participate in the High Five Fan Zone as the Predators take the field.
