Arizona Rattlers to reveal championship banner

 Season opener March 15 at US Airways Center

Phoenix, Ariz. – The Rattlers are coming off back-to-back ArenaBowl Championships and will open the 2014 season March 15 at US Airways Center in an ArenaBowl rematch against the Philadelphia Soul. Kick off is set for 6 p.m.

The Rattlers will unveil the 2013 ArenaBowl Championship banner hanging from the rafters in US Airways Center and award-winning trumpeter, Dr. Jesse McGuire, will perform the Star Spangled Banner.

Game day will kick off with the 2nd Annual Food Truck Challenge at 12 p.m. For $5, fans may sample each food truck’s signature Rattlers dish and will receive six tickets to vote for their favorites. The winning food truck will be announced at halftime. All proceeds from the Food Truck Challenge will benefit HopeKids, a 501(c)(3) organization providing ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-threatening medical condition. Fans can also enjoy an inflatable football toss and vendors prior to the game.
