Philadelphia Trims Roster Down From 28 to 24
PHILADELPHIA (March 16, 2013) – The American Conference Philadelphia Soul have announced their final team roster for the 2013 season. The 35-man roster was trimmed down to 24 (20 active and four inactive) after a two-week training camp at the Philadelphia Eagles’ NovaCare Complex in South Philadelphia.
The Soul will begin their quest for the ArenaBowl XXVI Championship on Friday, March 23 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, with a re-match of ArenaBowl XXV against the Arizona Rattlers where kickoff is at 9 p.m. ET on the CBS Sports Network.

The Philadelphia Soul have been built for a championship run in 2013. Starting with the coaching staff of head coach Clint Dolezel; assistant head coach Phil Bogle; assistant coach Chris McKinney; assistant coach Don Malloy; and assistant coach and former Philadelphia Eagle Hollis Thomas.
“We had a very good camp and we are pleased with the team we have put together,” said Soul head coach Clint Dolezel. “We had to make some very tough final cuts and that is usually a sign that you have put the team together the right way. We are looking forward to getting this season started and getting back to the ArenaBowl.”
