Orlando, FL- The Orlando Predators began pursuit of their goal to rise and conquer throughout the 2013 season by bringing back kicker Mark Lewis.
Mark Lewis, a Central Florida native and Lyman High School alum, has established himself as one of the premier kickers in the AFL. He was named the Arena Football League’s Kicker of the Year in 2007, and is entering his third season with the Preds and ninth overall in the AFL.
Lewis finished 2012 ranked third in the AFL in extra-point conversions (87 of 96) and tenth in scoring among all kickers (7.1 points per game). He also converted (30%) of his on-side kick attempts.
Head Coach Doug Plank is enthusiastic about the prospects of the 2013 season alongside Mark Lewis, “I have never had a weapon like Mark from the kicker position on any team I have coached before, and he will be an integral piece in our pursuit of a championship.”
