Orlando Predators Hosting Open Tryout Dec. 3 At Citrus Bowl

At least one player will earn a contract with the team for 2012 season
ORLANDO – The first open tryout of the offseason for the Arena Football League’s Orlando Predators will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Thunder Field, across from Florida Citrus Bowl at 1610 West Church Street.
Participants may register in advance at a cost of $60 per person by Monday, Nov. 28. Registration is $70 per participant on day of tryout. Payments will be accepted by credit card, cash or money order.
Along with coaches from the Orlando Predators organization, representatives from two United Football League teams will also be present at the tryout.
At least one player from open tryouts each year has been signed by the Predators to a contract.
Registration will be held from 8-9 a.m. on Dec. 3. The tryout starts promptly at 9:15 a.m. with the short shuttle and 40-yard dash taking place on natural grass. Individual position drills and one-on-one workouts will follow at approximately 10:30 a.m. The tryout is scheduled to wrap up by 1 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to dress accordingly and bring proper footwear for workouts on a grass surface. Kickers are asked to bring their own kicking tees. Pads and helmets are not needed.
