Rattlers Re-Sign LB Tyre Glasper

MESA, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announce the re-signing of LB TYRE GLASPER.
As a rookie, Glasper started in 17 games at linebacker in 2011. The plug linebacker led the team in tackles for loss with 10, finished second on the team with 7.5 sacks, recorded two safeties and two forced fumbles last season.
Glasper's sack total (7.5) ranks him as third all-time in the Rattlers single-season records. In the playoffs, he started in all three games, collecting six tackles, one tackle for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one pass breakup and two sacks.
Playing collegiately at North Carolina A&T University, Glasper started 10 games his senior year registering 44 tackles, four sacks, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick. During his junior year, Glasper started in 12 games, collecting a career-best 42 tackles and recorded 3.5 sacks. Glasper played in 26 games over his career with 81 career tackles, four blocked kicks, four fumble recoveries and nine sacks.
