Predators Momentum Halted In 60-40 Loss At San Jose

SaberCats break 33-all tie, outscore Orlando 21-7 down the stretch
SAN JOSE - The Orlando Predators turned the ball over three times on downs in the second half Saturday night during a 60-40 loss to the San Jose SaberCats at HP Pavilon.
The Predators (9-7) tied the game at 33-33 when quarterback Collin Drafts hit T.T. Toliver for a 13-yard touchdown to start the third quarter. From there, SaberCats (7-9) outscored Orlando 21-7 as San Jose quarterback Mark Grieb went 26 of 32 passing for 295 yards and five touchdowns.
Orlando managed just one stop on the night, when Travis Coleman intercepted his 10th pass on the season in the first quarter. The Preds turned the ball over on downs four times in all and trailed 33-26 at halftime.
Robert Quiroga caught nine passes for 127 yards and a touchdown while Josh Bush finished with 10 catches for 84 yards and a score in place of injured Bobby Sippio. T.T. Toliver caught seven passes for 96 yards and three scores.
Kenny McEntyre returned from a week off to lead the team along with Rayshaun Kizer with seven tackles apiece. Coleman finished with 4.5 tackles on the night.
With the loss, the Predators remain in the No. 4 spot in the American Conference playoff picture.
