Soul host Martial Arts Night

Post-Game Clinic to be Held for Soul Fans of all Ages – Friday, June 17th
PHILADELPHIA (June 14, 2011) -- The Philadelphia Soul (5-8) present Martial Arts night as they take on the Tulsa Talons (5-7), Friday, June 17 at 7:05 (EST) at the Wells Fargo Center.
To kick off the night, there will be pre-game concourse demos in the 11th Street and Broad Street Atriums by Destolfo’s Premier Martial Arts and C.U.T.S. Martial Arts.
“Mixed Martial Arts have been an especially fast-growing sport over the past few years,” said Soul VP/COO John Adams. “We hope to provide Soul fans with a unique night out at the Wells Fargo Center that they may not have the chance to experience otherwise.”
Martial Arts groups will be featured throughout the night as Champions Way Martial Arts will provide the crowd with a special halftime performance.
A free post-game martial arts clinic will be provided by Delstofo’s Premier Martial Arts, featuring four members of the National USA karate team. They will host mini instructional classes on the field for beginning, intermediate and advanced martial artists of all ages. Instructors will provide guidance in Rav-Maga, Kick Boxing/Mixed Martial Arts and Karate Tricking for participants. Fans can sign up for this clinic throughout the game at the Soul Sales table on the concourse behind section 124.
