| First-team All-Region and second-team All-State prep defensive end at Hillcrest where he served as team captain and Ironman, the two-time basketball letterman and honor roll student spent three years on LDS mission in Denmark before playing for the Utes and Arizona Cardinals.
Father, Dan Bowers, played for the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins.
