Beat the Guru: AFL Week 11
Adam Markowitz, ArenaFan.com

I’m so tired of ESPN, it’s not even funny. One week the dump button picks up nothing that it should. The next anything that even remotely sounds like profanity gets bleeped. One week they’re the Arizona Wranglers. The next they’re the Phoenix Rattlers. Can someone explain to the “Worldwide leader in sports” how the Arena Football League works?

Andy Lopusnak, ArenaFan.com

It took ten weeks, but now every team in the league has at least one win and one loss thanks to Cleveland knocking off previously unbeaten Philadelphia and previously winless Utah topping Kansas City. Loss leaves Desperados looking for answers

They are no longer undefeated and no longer an unstoppable team in the regular season. Now, they are trying to recover after flopping in a big-game situation much like they did in last year's playoffs as the No. 1 seed.

Beat the Guru: AFL Week 10
Adam Markowitz, ArenaFan.com

Before I begin, I want to say what a great thing it is for the Arena Football League to get involved in one of the greatest foundations this world has to offer. For those that don’t know, The V Foundation for Cancer Research was formed in honor of Jim Valvano to raise awareness and bring in donations for cancer research.

And then there was one. With the Philadelphia Soul beating the Dallas Desperados Monday night, there is only one undefeated team in the league. Find out what this means historically along with many other tantalizing news and notes in this week’s addition of Breaking it Down.

Had Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Soul been a prize fight, the Dallas Desperados would have been issued a standing eight count shortly after the opening bell.

AFL Monday Night Football preview: Dallas at Philadelphia
Covers

I don’t make many comparisons between the NFL and Arena Football, but this is one time where comparisons make perfect sense. This will mark the first time in 22 years of the AFL in which two undefeated teams will meet this late in the season (ironically, also in Week 9).
