The Arena Football League’s newest rivalry between the Philadelphia Soul and the Atlantic City Blackjacks began with a hard-fought game that ended with the Soul on top 48-41.
Don’t call it a comeback, they’ve been here for years - even if their opponent hasn’t. The Soul opened the 2019 season with a come-from-behind win over the Atlantic City Blackjacks in front of a crowd of 9,245 fans at the Wells Fargo Center.
The first game in Blackjacks history got underway with the team receiving the opening kickoff. Kendrick Ings found himself with some open space for a 27-yard return.
The Atlantic City Blackjacks of the Arena Football League (AFL) today announced all 12 of its games will be simulcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia (NBCSP) or NBC Sports Philadelphia+ (NBCSP+) for the 2019 season. NBC Sports Philadelphia will also air all of the Philadelphia Soul’s games.
The day most have had circled on their calendars is finally on the horizon. The Atlantic City Blackjacks will kick off its inaugural season Saturday, April 27 against the Philadelphia Soul at 3:30 p.m. inside the Wells Fargo Center.
