Winning a meaningful game thew hard way

The Los Angeles KISS have never played in a game with this magnitude in the history of the franchise. Sure every team will be playing when the final week concludes the regular season, but last night already had the feel of a playoff game with so much on the line to stay in LA to start the playoffs. Over 8000 fans knew what was at stake, and the KISS fed off of the vibes for the first 53 minutes of the game.

The LA KISS (7-7) were able to survive a fourth-quarter comeback by the Cleveland Gladiators (7-8) and ultimately walked out of the Honda Center victorious by a final score of 63-to-61 in front of 8,069 fans on Saturday evening.

Despite eight total touchdowns from QB Arvell Nelson, the Cleveland Gladiators were defeated by the LA KISS on Saturday in front of 8,069 fans at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., by a final score of 63-61. With the loss, the Gladiators fell to 7-8 on the season and currently sit alone in third place in the AFL’s National Conference standings.
