CLEVELAND (August 8, 2015) – The 2015 East Division Champion, Philadelphia Soul (15-3) defense flexed its muscles with five defensive stops (one fumble, four on downs) as they finished the regular season with a 48-33 victory against the Cleveland Gladiators (8-10) in front of 12,474 fans at the Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday night. Dan Raudabaugh capped an MVP-type season with a League-leading 119 touchdowns and 4,978 passing yards.

Shane Austin tossed his 101st touchdown pass of the season Saturday night to break John Dutton’s five-year old single-season franchise record of 100, but the Cleveland Gladiators (8-10) closed out the regular season with a 48-33 loss to the Philadelphia Soul (15-3) before a Quicken Loans Arena crowd of 12,474. The two teams will meet in the opening round of the Arena Football League playoffs next Saturday at 5:00 p.m., and fans are encouraged to attend The Official Gladiators Playoff Watch Party at Dave & Buster’s of Westlake. Soul look to battle the Gladiators

The Philadelphia Soul look to remain undefeated against the Gladiators in the regular season after suffering three tragic losses to them in 2014. The Soul (14-3) will travel to Cleveland to face the Gladiators (8-9) in Week 20 at the Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday, August 8 at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
